Accreditation of journalists

Procedure for journalists, photographers, camera operators and technical personnel

All journalists, photographers, camera operators and technical personnel wishing to gain access to the hearing room and the premises reserved for the media must be accredited by the Commission. They must make a written application using the “media accreditation” form giving their name, telephone numbers and email address, as well as the name of the media organization they represent and the name and telephone number of its news editor. They must also provide a digitized passport-format photograph. The form can be found in the press room section of the Commission’s website.

Freelancers must also complete the “media accreditation” form as well as provide a written attestation of employment or collaboration with a recognized media organization if they wish to obtain journalist status. The form, digital photograph and attestation must be sent to the Commission by email or by mail at the following address:

* Members of the media who attend the hearings occasionally may be issued temporary accreditation cards upon presentation of credentials.
